Do you know why NetBSD (and Open) are still using csh and not tcsh? Any reason?

Anyway, you can install shells/tcsh if you want. But, I'm sure you already know this.

I don't know. christos@ will know, since he's the upstream developer of tcsh.

I suspect the answer is that tcsh is a big program, and the focus of development in modern NetBSD is sh(1), with ksh(1) and csh(1) being included primarily for compatibility and continuation of the classic BSD experience.
