Jay Congrats to the NetBSD team and everyone involved to help make the release possible!
Have waited such a looooooong time for the official NetBSD 10.0 release, super stoked to upgrade all my computers and servers.

    Cheers! 🥳

    What a timing...
I just started playing around with NetBSD, and several hours later NetBSD 10.0 came out.

remiliascarlet Maybe a sign to make the switch? 😉 Improvements since NetBSD 9 is tremendous!

      ちなみに純日本人ですか?本当にネイティブのような英語で少し気になりましたが、ハーフなのか外国の方なのか、のではないかと思うぐらいです。どちらにしても、よろしくお願いします!〜

oui Maybe a sign to make the switch? 😉 Improvements since NetBSD 9 is tremendous!

I'm not looking into switching, I'm still satisfied with OpenBSD, although it could possibly replace FreeBSD (excluding NAS) in the future maybe after things like the Monero CLI wallet and XMRIG have been ported over.
I installed it on an older laptop that was just lying around, but it's crashing once every few minutes over a WiFi card issue, sometimes it wouldn't connect to WiFi at all, and sometimes it won't boot altogether, so it's pretty inconsistent.
And sometimes programs will always segfault until I reboot.
This is NetBSD 10.0, by the way.

        Yes, I am.

        oui 本当にネイティブのような英語で少し気になりましたが、ハーフなのか外国の方なのか、のではないかと思うぐらいです。

I guess decades of posting on IRC got me to this high level.
But no, I'm not a ハーフ.

          Jay Announcing NetBSD 10.0

They should've done it tomorrow instead... 😃 Such syzygy doesn't happen often, you know.

That's unfortunate to hear. If you have the time and energy maybe you could make a separate post with more detailed info including dmesg output etc. There's people here that would be glad to help!
