In the past, I for sure was able to use NetBSD's Linux compat to run the Linux version of VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action. And I know I'm not the only one: https://washbear.neocities.org/valhalla.html
But now when I try to run it (and several other Linux binaries of multimedia apps) I consistently segfault fairly early on -- a window is drawn to the screen, but never enough time to actually render anything interesting. And a core dump.
What can I do to debug this? It'd be cool to get a backtrace, even -- but I'm not sure how to get started with that, cuz it's a Linux binary... any tips?
