My current *nix battlestation (setup) - still WIP From top to bottom: . ROCKPro64 2GB / 16GB emmc / open acrylic case. (daily driver) . TP-Link router . Two Optiplex 3020M as general file/web server and work station. Everything running NetBSD on bare metal 🤠

I don't really want to run around the house taking pictures with a bad phone camera 🙁 Laptops: ThinkPad X250 (NetBSD/amd64) - the famous one, used for pictures on blog.netbsd.org . It has so many stickers. ThinkPad T60 (NetBSD/amd64) - not currently in use. We flashed it with a bad image of Coreboot at some point and didn't bother to disassemble it to re-flash it because it has basically a million screws. Stickers include FUCK (Frauen und Computer Kram). Heavier than two bricks with another bit of a brick. Was supposed to run Tribblix, but we couldn't make it boot. Pinebook Pro (NetBSD/aarch64) - not currently in use, too unreliable compared to the ThinkPads Networking hardware: Soekris net5501 (NetBSD/i386) - just acquired by roommate. It has a bright pink case with the Ethernet interfaces silk-screened vr0 through vr3, indicating it ran a form of BSD in a previous life. PC Engines apu1d (NetBSD/amd64) - our main residential gateway. Has served for over 6 years or so. It plays tunes . I love it a lot. Also, it has a man page . Other small boxes: Apple Mac Mini (first generation) (NetBSD/macppc & Mac OS X Tiger) - CD burning machine. It is labelled aacenc25, I'm not sure of its history. I was passed it over a table at a pub at a NetBSD developer meeting before the world ended. LeMaker Banana Pi (NetBSD/earmv7hf) - bright yellow case, connected to a 128GB SATA SSD. not currently in use. BeagleBone Black (NetBSD/earmv7hf) - not currently in use. Raspberry Pi 3 (x2) (NetBSD/aarch64) - one in use in a bright blue case, nicknamed "blueberry". Currently sends music to my amplifier. I do think I need more NetBSD hardware... we want to run something as a high-tier NTP server. I have some sparc waiting for delivery.

Laptops: Thinkpad x240 (NetBSD/amd64), dual-booting with Slackware 14.2, my daily driver Thinkpad R51 (NetBSD/i386), dual-booting with FreeDOS 1.3, my alternative distraction-free box. Mainly using it for studying and retrogaming when I'm home as it's quite heavy and resides in my bedroom Travelmate 426LC (NetBSD/i386), not turning it on frequently tbh Embedded: Odroid C2 (NetBSD/aarch64), home firewall Raspberry Pi3 B, home server, misc stuff In the past I've run NetBSD/hpcarm on a Jornada 720 up -7.2 and I've tried a very old snapshot of NetBSD/playstation2 (mips) 😛. years ago I'd like to get my hands on a Mac Mini (spotting offers on eBay) so as to test the macppc port whenever I have some more time to spare. A Sun Blade could be another cool idea, but those cost nia It has so many stickers. I really like dig all of them, especially the RunBSD/StopFascim one and the "Vegan" one with the Arch logo

nia Oh many, macppc mac mini, I need to get my hands on one of those. I have an iBook G4 I intended to play with powerpc, BSD, and maybe mess around and make a crummy OS for fun and that thing is a pain to lug out and play on for that sometimes.

Not really a huge Apple fan even though I have lots of Apple hardware. Most of it I just came across at the right time at the right cost or it has something specific about it (PPC Processor in the G4 as an example and the small form of the Mac Mini for cheap). The G4 I picked up for 50 on ebay. The Older poly carbon Macbook for 20 bucks locally, mac mini for 40 bucks.

I have a picture of the G4 booted on from awhile back. I woulda booed it up for the pictures above, but its been awhile and I never set up OpenFirmware to automatically boot OpenBSD. So I have to do it manually. Isnt a problem, but its been awhile so I rather forgot and got lazy in googling the commands. Its a picture of when I installed it, but its on there.
