Nick0lis It's from 2018 and yes it's out of warranty. The expected lifespan of this AIO in terms of hours of work however is definitely beyond the effective usage it witnessed throughout these years. I do not work with computers anymore, so I prefer laptop for casual computing and development, and this PC has been powered on only once in a while in the last 4-5 years.
At the time of building the workstation, liquid cooling was recommended to me by an engineering friend without any consideration of the downsides. I definitely did not need it, as I'm not into AAA gaming, rendering, modeling, and the most resource intensive thing I do is recompiling my pkgsrc packages for Linux twice a year.
Replacing the AIO with air cooling is in my todo list, I just hadn't had the time. For now, I haven't heard noises coming from the pump, nor I noticed spikes in core temperature above 45C, and thankfully I placed the radiator on top.
Anyway, thanks for the reminder XD.
