Getting WiFi Network to work (Eduroam)

Hello everyone,

I am on a Lenovo ThinkPad T450s and most of the stuff works fine except WiFi when it comes
to enterprise networks.

A bit of background.
I can connect to my home wifi without any problems.
The problem is when I tried to use my laptop at university and connecting to EDUROAM
which is one of these EAP networks.
Never got my laptop to connect to one of these networks.
Could somebody help me understand why? And if there is a way to solve this?

Try looking at the example config. in /usr/share/examples/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
Looks like you may need to add a couple more directives to your config.

Redirect to null (or a log file)? >/dev/null 2>&1

rvp Unfortunately it is not that easy since my eduroam uses no certificates and i don't know what is that address that is referenced as "anonymous" i don't remember inserting it in my networkmanager on my gnu/linux machine.

Any idea?
Also that fatal firmware error worries me.

I fixed the issue, it is a bug in the documentation, wpa_supplicant is case sensitive when it comes to matching options,
after searching the error online I found this:

basically MSCHAPv2 should be MSCHAPV2 note the capital "V", how do I report this? and where?

Actually, the directives in the wpa_supplicant.conf(5) man-page are all correctly in CAPS. It's the example file that has to change. File a PR.
