rvp dpostolov No need to rebuild everything--just the kernel. Do: mv /netbsd /netbsd-10_RC2 mv /stand /stand-10_RC2 Then extract only the latest kernel and modules. The same thing with the latest source to rebuild the kernel.
dpostolov rvp I read your post already after I started rebuilding the system and applications from source. So it will take me some time to complete it.
nettester dpostolov Workaround: do not use this M9 computer for multimedia under NetBSD Another workaround might be to use an external USB audio dongle. Not sure if it's worth it unless you already got something lying around though.
dpostolov nettester I don't have an external usb audio dongle. After rebuilding the system and applications, I will take and post a video about this problem if it still shows up in -HEAD.
dpostolov RVP, this problem does not appear in -HEAD, but remains in 10.0_RC3. Since the problem is solved in -HEAD, do you think that further debugging can be stopped and just not use 10.0_RC3 but use -HEAD?
rvp dpostolov do you think that further debugging can be stopped and just not use 10.0_RC3 but use -HEAD? Heisenbugs usually disappear when debugging is turned on, so -HEAD working with all that debug stuff turned on is no guarantee that the bug's been fixed. Maybe enabling those same debug options in 10.0 RC3 will make it vanish there as well...
