Mosfet pin I know this page, although I don't think that it is updated often, since it states: branch delayed (again) due to EA issues (see above), probably will happen around June 7. And now it is September... :P
Jay @nia 's NetBSD 10 talk after 13th min https://bsdtv-player.secdn.net/theatre/1533910d-8f94-4a30-94ff-6cfd8e4504ba Edit : presentation link https://netbsd.org/gallery/presentations/nia/eurobsdcon2022/releng.html
Mosfet Jay TBH, I have to agree with this guy on reddit: Just to clarify: the page makes it seem like it's already been released, because it already talks of 10.0 as if it already exists… [https://www.reddit.com/r/NetBSD/comments/xgtcrk/comment/ioubp8n/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3]
untitled support for built-in wifi on Pinebook Pro (src/sys/dev/sdmmc/if_bwfm_sdio.c); now very buggy and virtually unusable terminus font for wscons, different sizes
rvp untitled * terminus font for wscons, different sizes This is already in -HEAD now, so 10.0 will have it. Just uncomment the Terminus-related lines in /etc/wscons.conf
giriu I hope NetBSD will stay a minimalist pure Unix in base and will keep the extraordinary simple yet efficient menu-driven installer. for packages I hope there will be a working mtpfs package , resolving the ralink wireless firmware issue, and hopefully more wireless and unicode support.
pin nortonham the eternal debate, 3 shells and 2 wms in base. Why? I don't bother anymore, they are rather small. Besides, you can use whatever shell and wm you like.
nortonham pin It's something I across BSD's and linux distros. How minimal can we go. I see no problem with ctwm in NetBSD by default. It's not like the default has GNOME 41 and systemd or something
JuvenalUrbino imachocbar Then, how am I supposed to make the comp set fit on a 5¼ floppy, with 2 toolchains? 😜
imachocbar pin that's sad... but I still hope it will though. Or at least some RELEASE-llvm tarballs.
