Hi All,
I want to give a try to the wine (64 bit) package in pkgin on my 9.3 amd64 box. I know that the option USER_LDT needs to be enabled and the SVS disabled in the kernel config file but when building the kernel it gets stuck. I asked for help on the netbsd-users mailing list but it's pretty quiet nowadays so got no help so far.
I can kind of imagine two solutions:
1) manage to get the custom kernel built (no clue how as it can't find an include header (ssp/unistd.h) in its own source directories (/usr/src) -the source is 9.3 release version.
2) enable USER_LDT and disable SVS via sysctl. I know that disabling SVS can be done that way but can USER_LDT be enabled as well on the fly?
Thanks for any hints!
Best regards,
