NetBSD General Kernal Vs Install ISO Kernal

Hi, I picked up another cheap USB 3 stick so was wondering what are the main differences between the General Kernal and the Install Kernal as the Install image allows building a RAM disk and would like to try and build a live image that runs of the USB stick.
