Molsketch

How would I go about packaging Molsketch for NetBSD?!
It would be great to have a supported/active 2D molecule editor available on NetBSD.

you'll want to either write or get someone else to write a makefile for it in pkgsrc, and then talk to pkgsrc maintainers about getting that upstreamed

I saw that there're quite a few qt5 dependencies when reading the CMakeList.txt file 🥴

i'm pretty sure qt5 stuff is available in the wip subdir in pkgsrc - you need to grab that separately

just sharing my experience...
Initially I had problems with checksums. The sourceforge link was not working and the directlink caused a mismatch in the checksums.
I've downloaded the .tar.gz file and hosted it on a temporary repo on github.
This solved the issue with the checksums. Running bmake proceeds fine untill the Qt5 dependencies (Qt5Core, Qt5Widgets, Qt5Gui, Qt5PrintSupport, Qt5Svg and Qt5Network) are not found 🙁
Obviously, the build fails...
This could be a simple nomenclature issue as I found that Qt5Svg is called qt5-qtsvg on NetBSD, but I can't find the other packages 🙁
Maybe I should revisit this once I've managed to do some simpler packages....

Update: feel free to ignore this post. I'm continuing the discussion on pkgsrc-wip at github. Hopefully this will result in a package 😉

Sorry if you find this a "show-off", but I'm really happy and just have to share it.
I've successfully created and built my first NetBSD package 🥳
qt5ct a tool for customizing Qt5-applications outside KDE/lxqt environments. Running perfectly on my system and waiting to be pushed into wip 🤣

Update:
qt5ct is a tool that allows users to configure Qt5 settings (theme, font, icons, etc.) under DE/WM without Qt integration.
My package has been reviewed by @kamil and I've pushed the final version into pkgsrc-wip yesterday.

I've also added a message that displays at install time telling what you need to do in order to use the package.

Next, I'll try to fix ufetch, which has some ugly Makefile hacks 😉
