Issues installing NetBSD 9.2 on mid-2011 iMac [A1311]

Howdy. Is anyone able to help me out with an installation issue?

No matter what I do, I can’t get the NetBSD installer to work on this old mid-2011 iMac A1311. Reading the boot(8) man pages didn’t work. Tried all the different boot flags, disabled Radeon graphics, uefi image, boot image, all lead to a blank screen after all the hardware detection.

Currently have FreeBSD 13.1 installed with no issues.

netrunner Try first the latest 9.2_STABLE image.
If that doesn't work try the latest current image.

netrunner Also helps if we can see the kernel messages. Add the -vx flag at the bootloader prompt, then make a short movie of the screen. Step through the frames one-by-one and post a picture of the last frame before the screen blanks.

pin 9.2_Stable didn't work but running HEAD did work after "userconf disable radeon*"! I appreciate all the quick responses to my issue. Y'all rock!

Maybe a trick to find clues: raw copy that FreeBSD install and replace the kernel with a NetBSD kernel. It won't work, but what does it say? It can be at least more than a blank screen.
I think it's a bootloader problem...
