joe2321 Is there a free and open source alternative to Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 Plus Bluetooth [3166] by any chance
probably replacing it with a NIC whose ROM's code is of public domain...but is this really worth the trouble and the money? think that by throwing away your current device you'd be basically contributing to pollution (non-degradable heavy metals, etc..) for no reason; moreover, if you had access to that firmware code, what kind of use would it be to you (and what sort of proprietary assembler would likely you require in order to build it?)
