Thank very much for these articles they were most useful in setting up my desktop.
I migrated from TrueOS to 11.2 release, but I key Lumina as the desktop and the /etc/autofs/spectal-* scripts from TrueOS so USB/MTP would auto mount.

I was able to get the system running on Nvidia Desktop and a T580+T420s Laptops including suspend/resume.
