Wish someone had talked to me before importing this, it looks really nastily done and there's loads of lingering references to OpenBSD stuff. I think the sandbox and audio support won't work at all since it still assumes it's running on OpenBSD.

nia True, it has been going-on in wip for sometime, though.

The only way to find out if audio works is to build the package, it pulls-in pulseaudio.

It surely needs some major clean-up but, maybe it will attract more eyes now, than it did in wip. I have to agree with you, though. After looking at it a bit closer, it is rather raw.

pin The sandbox file for netbsd contains loads of commented out references to pledge and the default audio driver is still sndio which is OpenBSD's thing. I'll try writing a native NetBSD driver when I'm done with work, it doesn't look like more than an hour's work. I could also try fixing the sandbox. I'm also unhappy that it's PaX MPROTECT unsafe. We put a lot of effort into making every Mozilla package safer and this is a definite security downgrade.

I think for pkgsrc we have higher standards than pkgsrc-wip and shouldn't commit things that contain loads of copypasta from OpenBSD and commented out lines.

nia Awesome, I hope it is as easy as you put it. I'm also not happy with a lot of things in it and, you're right, it should have been heavily reviewed before importing.

pfr qutebrowser could become a viable option soon. But, as @nia has pointed-out, bugs are most probably to be expected at the moment.
