  • OpenBSD-- new associations or sponsors?

I'm actually fighting FUD here, (rather I'm fighting it elsewhere) but facts are still good-- does anybody here know of any new large-sized (big corporate) sponsors that have gotten cozy with OpenBSD in the past year or two?

Someone I deal with is trying to paint them as making deals. It's ridiculous, and probably spin-- but if anybody knows what it could be in reference to (even if the reality is no big deal at all) that would be cool to know.

Of course I could probably just go to their sponsors page (and I intend to do that) but maybe there's something people know about that isn't listed? I know, it's hard to prove that something isn't there. So really I'm looking for anything remotely like this. If there is anything. Don't even worry if it fits the description, a guess will do.

My guess is, its a FOSS project with a BSD or BSD-like license so major deals are not necessary. Any company can fork the code or make in house changes and decide whether or not to upstream their changes? I see no valid reason for secret back door deals. And how would it benefit a company? About the only deals I see that any of the BSDs could make, and it would be a positive, is deals with hardware manufacturers to get driver support.
