First time hearing coma wm, how did you learn about it?
It does indeed really seem like the perfect window manager for my workflow on paper, guess I'll be busy playing with a new wm for awhile haha :D Thanks for sharing man, your pockets are waayy too full with gold nuggets - can't barely keep up with all the intriguing resources and content you share, (especially on alt.unitedbsd).
It's xmbdfed. Have you made your own or customized bitmap fonts before? If not, I warn you due to it's super easy to use nature that it's addictively fun. I've spent way too many hours customizing glyphs.. Planning to design my own bitmap font someday.
Also, is anyone using bitmap fonts with different languages? In my case for example, I use English and Japanese. An often occurring problem is that the Japanese font I like is only available in different font sizes (often 1px larger or smaller) which can cause funny artifacts in the terminal if you use it as is. Though it's easy to use something like xmbdfed to add white space to the smaller font making it the same size as the larger font. Might write a blog post about this if anyone would be interested.
