JuvenalUrbino: I really ought to install rc to get used to scripting in it, shouldn't I? I'll check out your thread, and please do ping me about plan9port on NetBSD though if you're posting here about NetBSD I probably won't miss it. I'm a bit hesitant to run a separate cpu server to the head when would barely know what I'm doing on 9 anyway (my first 9fans question was "how do I turn it off") but I'll read the FQAs before jumping in and keep that tip in mind.
nortonham: Tiling helps me get the most out of my monitors' screen real estates and bspwm tiles the most intuitively to me personally. I suppose tiling may not be for everyone but I just can't function when I have to move windows around and overlap windows - I need to be able to split my screen between vim in one xterm and man in another xterm without thinking about "gestures" or how to overlap the windows.
