pfr If i remember correctly you can use xdotool (i think it was) to snap windows to the sides with a script so you could just make a simple script with xdotool to snap the windows to the side when they spawn in. (cwm is so cool lol)
Edit: I remember watching this guy on YouTube how he got different tiling modes to work
