I guess I could actually,
- create an empty repo with the name of the project I want to follow
- clone it locally and
git remote add upstream https://github.com/USER/REPO
git pull upstream master
would then yield changes I can follow
Drawback, use of disk space 🤔
EDIT: Another way, as I'm mainly interested in releases of packages I maintain, is to fully rely on Repology. But, then I'd miss those that I've been maintaining despite not being self assigned as a maintainer.
