Most of my BSD installations have the default newest fvwm 2.x look. (I have a bunch of old laptops, etc., and every major BSD somewhere.) When it replaced the old fvwm 2.x look some years ago, I decided it's good enough to simply complement by changing the XTerm colors. Seriously, it's a huge change almost never mentioned. But my OpenBSD install is stuck with too-old fvwm.
