Within Linux compats brought to HBSD from FreeBSD (though semi-dormant), why doesn’t HBSD get /compat/OpenBSD brought to us prior to pure FreeBSD?
hd_scania why doesn’t HBSD get /compat/OpenBSD brought to us prior to pure FreeBSD?
and for what purpose? The rational behind the Linux compat layer is commercial vendors distributing binaries of their proprietary software for Linux but not BSD. Same applies to wine for Windows binaries. What sort of binary-only software can OpenBSD run which FreeBSD cannot?
