Can't enable DRI for xorg in NetBSD 9

Hello, I am new to NetBSD and I just got X.org started. Problem is I can't seem to get DRI working for X.org. According to glxinfo I am using llvmpipe instead for OpenGL graphics, and xdriinfo shows Screen 0: not direct rendering capable. My GPU is R7 360 (Tobago) and DRI works when I use FreeBSD 12.1 and OpenBSD 6.6 (despite crashing whenever there are intense OpenGL operations.) Any help would be appreciated.

Acceleration with that card isn't supported, due to amdgpu not being enabled yet. Maybe in NetBSD 10.

nia It is using radeondrm instead of amdgpu. Shouldn't acceleration works on radeondrm?

nia so I got a HD 7770 and still I have the same problem. I have done my research and it is supported by linux 4.4, it has the chipset 'VERDE' which is listed as supported in the radeondrm man page. Do I need some xorg configuration to make hardware acceleration happen?
