I have noticed something, that, i generally don't care that much about, but felt the need to ask.
Im "evaluating" NetBSD for my general use... Like the release model!
This is in NO way ment to be flamatory, in Any way. If you can provide the answer, please close the discussion!
Have run FreeBSD for a couple of years. They provide Erratas/Security advisories once one is needed.
Last for NetBSD i can find is from 2024

My two guesses as to how NetBSD handles these are:
1) Provided via source, so once source tree is updated, you rebuild system and it is updated...
2) If your device is internet facing, you choose to run the daemons from pkgsrc that keeps them updated...
or maby both? 🙂
