Since March 2026, I wrote a new weekly "letter" to list various articles about IT, mainly FLOSS, from the previous week 😉

I Can't read the grey on white text. Bad eyes... I have to avoid all such pages. Wordpress is another problem with super-thin font. I wish everything was green on black like my xterms.

Font family is mainly serif.

Have you noticed that there’s a dark mode (based on system preferences)?
(May be, this will be better for you)

CiotBSD I'm not victim of anything. Just saying that grey on white text has poor contrast. Many people can't read that., which means less visitors.

I am in the same boat as you. The site looks interesting, but it is very hard for me to read 🙁

Hey men.
Like I wrote: this website have dark and light mode.
Secondly (and sorry, I did not made to clear): The site have 3 feed formats, Atom, RSS, and Json!

PS: You’re IT users|professionals, so use your favourite tools to access information however you like… but stop complaining – you’re not children.

My suggestion what you can do it when you post latest link remove last one so it keeps original post accessible easily plus latest link to your website and keep things clear for new person reaching this discussion

I understand your suggestion perfectly…
however, I need to be able to delete the previous posts straight away; for some reason I can’t quite grasp, I’m unable to do so!
Secondly, that would remove the publication history, but is that really relevant? I don’t know, and it doesn’t really matter.
We would also need to be able to delete the various replies so that the thread stays as close as possible to the original post, which is obviously not possible, as the posts in question were not written by me.

CiotBSD forum software doesn't allow deletion other than mods and admin. I can do that for you. Let me delete old replies on post.
