smurfd Hey, can anyone recommend a wifi router that you can put Free/Net/Open BSD on with ease? 2+ nics, 2 antennas. Thanks
smurfd rvp great, freebsd has a similar page. https://www.freebsd.org/platforms/mips/ now just to find somewhere to buy 🙂
nia smurfd Note that mips support was removed in FreeBSD 14. I got my edgerouter 4 from eBay for a good price.
smurfd nia Ahh thanks! Good to know about fbsd removing mips support in 14. went with a Linksys WRT55AG (didn't think about ebay 😃)
smurfd it has arrived, should ofcourse have asked but i guess i follow this https://wiki.netbsd.org/tutorials/how_to_install_netbsd_on_the_linksys_nslu2___40__slug__41___without_a_serial_port__44___using_nfs_and_telnet/ Then follow this to interrupt the RedBoot boot (the link on the wiki does not work nor is on the archive.org) https://www.harti.ch/harti/spare_time/nslu/NSLU2-Linux%20%20HowTo%20Telnet%20into%20Redboot.pdf ?
