I just finished updating to pkgsrc 2024Q3, no issues occurred on 10.0 amd64. Note, I use binary packages.

To be honest these announcements always bring me false hopes.

I use pkgin for binary installation on servers and these availability announcements do not comprise that.
Right now the default All repo still points to Q2.

I believe I could compile the port myself on a local machine and pkg_add the package on the server of course.
But yes I always feel weird with these GA announcements which are not GA unless you compile stuff yourself.

Yes I saw that.
I'm not in a hurry so I'll wait for it to come as the default so I don't have to make changes each time in the future in my config.

This is just a critique on the way announcements are made.
