Hey All, I'm kind of new to the *BSD scene and would like to dip my toes in with NetBSD. I was wondering if someone could answer some of my questions? What is NetBSD like with an AMD Ryzen CPU and Radeon graphics? Will I run into problems? I saw that KDE Plasma5 was in the ports, is there some tutorial somewhere that I can follow to get it set up? Any other tips or must do's that I should be looking at? Thanks in advance for your help! Dave

pinkelephantdev No clue 🙁 I've never owned a Ryzen. Look though the release notes, maybe its there... Plasma5 is in wip (work-in-progress repo), https://github.com/NetBSD/pkgsrc-wip/tree/master/plasma-desktop I don't know if its working, I'm not a plasma user. Sorry for not being of any help 🙁

For KDE5 I don't think it's working yet or anyone tried to work on it but you can find maintainer of that port on PkgSrc.se and mail them.
