Hesitant to post after the formidable article by JuvenalUrbino (thank you very much for this summary), I would simply like to add 2 laptops (including one recent) to the list of machines truly compatible with NetBSD. I really like bsd-hardware, I regularly bring new probes to the platform, but personally, it's not this list that makes me decide to acquire a machine, as the information is not always easily interpretable, and I've already had some bad surprises. I prefer to corroborate the information with posts published on forums.
