I'd ask this on pkgsrc-users, but I'm running NetBSD9.3 and pkgsrc 2023Q2, and I suspect I'd only be told I should try running -current
In /etc/mk.conf I have MAKEVERBOSE= 3
When that is the case, building packages fails (I have only tried a handful like this but all of them fail similarly) with nonsense build syntax. Such as, 2000 lines of searching for a way to make 'l'.
If I set MAKEVERBOSE= 2 then everything works; except when it doesn't, in which case I can't see why due to not enough verbosity...
This is on aarch64. I'm pretty sure I must have used MAKEVERBOSE= 3 on NetBSD 9.2/9.3 and pkgsrc 2023Q2, on i386, evbarm, and amd64 at some point, but I'm not positive. I have never noticed this problem before.
