constantly stuck to death

I was stuck to death about 5 times this morning. How to find the reason?
If I use the system every day, it's OK. If I don't use the system every day, I get stuck to death constantly, that's weird.

If I don't use the system the next day, the system will stuck to death for one or two times the third day I use it. Sometimes I use Ctrl+Alt+F2 and I can log in, but some times Ctrl+Alt+F2 doesn't work.

Sounds like your laptop is on its last legs. Time to replace it, my friend.

BTW, from your dmesg output:

Go into the BIOS setup and change the SATA config. to use AHCI instead of IDE. You'll get much better performance out of your disks that way.

The CD-ROM is connected to ahcisata0 port 4 isn't it. That will be slower than an HDD:

cd0(ahcisata0:4:0): using PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2, Ultra-DMA mode 6 (Ultra/133) (using DMA)

In the BIOS? Yes. (why would you want to disable this?)

Also:

This indicates an unclean stutdown, and while WAPBL should fix any FS issues, I'd would still do fsck -f /dev/rdk1 in single-user mode just to be safe.
